This volume begins with a book length sheaf of new poems titled\u00a0A Hunger<\/em>, by Petra White, then reprints the first two,\u00a0The Simplified World<\/em>\u00a0(2010) and\u00a0The Incoming Tide<\/em>\u00a0(2007).\u00a0A Hunger<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>is also of course the volume\u2019s title, naming the spirit of urgency in even her quietest language here.<\/p>\n
